This discipline is influenced by several behavioural sciences and social sciences. The important among them are psychology, sociology and anthropology. All the models of organizational behaviour are broadly classified into four types: autocratic, custodial, supportive and collegial. We discuss these four models beginning with the autocratic. One of the main goals of organizational behavior is to revitalize organizational theory and develop a better conceptualization of organizational life. Classic organizational behavior theory typically includes four parts, though newer forms of this theory may include more parts. These are: finding the best way to complete tasks, matching the best employee to each task, supervising workers closely while using rewards and punishment for motivation, and using management planning and control in the company. Organisational behaviour uses systemic studies to improve predictions of behaviour that would be made from instructions of the management alone. But, because each organisation is different from the other one, we have to find organisational behaviour model which will suit that particular organisation.
